I went in to this Vertical Plyo Workout with REALLY sore hamstrings from the day before and I’m not really sure why unless it was because I skipped out (forgot) on my results and recovery drink post workout.
The Results and Recovery Formula contains that 4-1 carb/protein ratio (the post workout magic ratio) and has really reduced if not eliminated most of my muscle soreness. It also tastes like orange sherbet to me (which I love) which is never a bad thing either.
Yeah, I know I work for the company. Yeah, I know I receive commissions. Yeah, I know I get a big discount on it by being a Coach…but that stuff works and I normally use it everyday and I highly recommend it to anyone who works out frequently -especially doing a program like this!
I also starting experiencing that foot pain issue again during the warm up tonight. I am not sure what this is all about…I have changed shoes (4 different pairs), changed surfaces (concrete, carpet, mats/padding), and just nothing seems to work but stopping for at least 30 seconds til it subsides.
Despite all this, this has been probably my best Vertical Plyo workout that I have done so far since starting the Asylum. Even though, I had some physical issues going on, I found myself really in the zone mentally. I am starting to tap in to this mental aspect of working out when it comes to dealing with and working through this type of pain and almost embracing it to a degree.
Tomorrow is Back To Core day followed by a Rest day…so I want to really bring it in these next 8 days and finish up the Asylum strong! I can’t wait to take that last Sports Performance Assessment Test!
