I really am going to commit myself…and NO, it’s not because I had to watch the kids all weekend BY MYSELF while my wife was away!
I’m talking about Insanity: The Asylum!
As I begin to approach the end of P90X2 (final results coming soon), I started thinking about my goals and what program to do next or if I would even just take a break for a while (bad idea imo), I thought about P90X again or Insanity again or maybe even a P90X2/P90X hybrid type of workout, but in the end…I have decided to do 30 days of THE ASYLUM from Insanity…I’m pumped!
Cause I’m crazy, right? No, well maybe I am…the summer and fall is all about running for me. I love to run races, preferably trail, and I think that the program that will be able to take me to the next level when it comes to competing and basically just enjoying all that even more is this one!
And since summer is just around the corner, 30 intense days of training fits in perfect with my timetable for what I am planning to which includes lots of running and, by the way, climbing a 14,440 mountain as well!
The Asylum is basically a professional sports training program and to be honest, I really hope I can handle this…I love a good challenge but this will definitely be the most intense 30 days from a “getting in shape/physical conditioning” standpoint I have ever been through except maybe sports training back when I was in school, but I still think this might even BE TOUGHER! I was MUCH younger then than I am now.
Yeah, so I’m sort of nervous about this…I have talked to some people who are currently and have been through this program and they all agree…it’s BRUTAL.
On the other hand, they all agree that some of the BEST results that have ever gotten has been with this program, as one of them said…”It’s a GAME CHANGER!” That’s what I’m looking for!
